Forge-musée
Forge-musée
Details
The Petitjeans were not just any blacksmiths. Four generations succeeded one another in this building in Etueffont, at the foot of the Vosges, from the 17th century onwards. In a place where home and workshop were one, they left the trace of their authentic know-how.
You can discover them in a real eco-museum with more than 20 exhibition spaces. More than 2 hours of visit to discover the trades of blacksmith, blacksmith, wheelwright, clog maker, shoemaker, basket maker, farmer, women's work, the life of yesteryear in the Vosges foothills etc.
