Details

The Petitjeans were not just any blacksmiths. Four generations succeeded one another in this building in Etueffont, at the foot of the Vosges, from the 17th century onwards. In a place where home and workshop were one, they left the trace of their authentic know-how. You can discover them in a real eco-museum with more than 20 exhibition spaces. More than 2 hours of visit to discover the trades of blacksmith, blacksmith, wheelwright, clog maker, shoemaker, basket maker, farmer, women's work, the life of yesteryear in the Vosges foothills etc.
