Our gite, called "L'échappée Verte", is located in the heart of our beautiful Vosges du Sud region, with hiking, cycling and mountain sports (skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing, etc.) nearby.
It is decorated in this spirit and has just been carefully renovated using local materials.
It comprises:
- a lovely open-plan living area (lounge/living room) with a large log table that can seat more than 10 people. A wood-burning stove heats the room and the house. A convertible sofa (Emma brand) sleeps 160cm or 2 people (80cm wide). A connected TV is available.
- The kitchen is equipped with oven, fridge, dishwasher and microwave.
- 2 master suites with walk-in shower and washbasins. High-quality bedding (Emma king-size mattresses in both bedrooms (160x200 and 180x200). One bedroom has a cot.
- A mezzanine with a pretty atypical cabin houses two separate 140x200 beds, each of which can accommodate 4 children or adults. There is also a children's play area.
- A sauna/relaxation room in the house and a Nordic bath on the terrace will complete your quest for serenity and rest.
- a hanging net for relaxation.
- A third bathroom on the ground floor with walk-in shower and washbasin.
- 2 WCS
- a beautiful, large wooden terrace with views over ponds and nature.
- a secure garage for your skis, bikes and sports equipment.
- private parking for 2 cars.
The house is heated by a wood-burning stove and mains gas.
There is a small grocery/bakery 200 metres from the gite.
All amenities are less than 5 minutes away by car (supermarket, bank, post office, pharmacy, bakery, restaurants, etc.). Charging points for electric vehicles are available in the village, 500 metres from the house.
A vintage Peugeot bike is available in the garage for doing your shopping and going to the local market on Saturday mornings.
We provide duvets, bed linen and towels.
A raclette/fondue machine, hairdryers, a hair straightener, a washing machine, etc. are all at your disposal.
Cleaning is compulsory to ensure impeccable hygiene.
Wifi is available throughout the gite.
Hiking from the gite is possible. The Ballon d'Alsace is 5 minutes away, the Planche des Belles Filles 15 minutes and the Plateau des Mille Etangs 45 minutes.
The Alsace and Montbéliard Christmas markets are close by (about 30 minutes).
Calm, comfort, cocooning and nature are the watchwords of our gite. Come and discover it!
