Edith & Moi

A singer is mysteriously "muted". Immobilised, she can no longer perform. An unspoken secret is burning inside her. But she is not alone. A spirited Édith Piaf is there to drag her out of bed and bring her back to life. This vulnerable, unlikely and complicit duo will face the demons lurking nearby with determination. Singer, actress, puppeteer and director Yael Rasooly is an accomplished, multi-talented artist. Her work has been performed in over thirty countries and has won numerous international awards. Here, she uses all the strings to her bow to tell a painful personal story. She surprises us with her scenic inventions, her virtuosity and her humour.
