Details
A decrepit donkey, a crippled cat, a toothless dog and a rooster escape certain death at the hands of man. Together they decide to set off for Bremen and get hired as musicians in the Bremen brass band. In the forest they find a house of robbers, and each in his own way, with a terrifying noise, they attack and drive the frightened robbers out of the house. Then they finish the remains of the robbers' meal and make themselves comfortable in the house.
If they never left for Bremen to become musicians - the tale does not tell us.
