Concert proposed as part of the 2023 season of Vocalises de Belfort.
The baroque ensemble Il Parlatorio invites us to discover the music composed around the female convents of Northern Italy in the 17th century. In contrast to austere or purely functional music, these expressive compositions show that the cultural life of these institutions had nothing to envy to that of the secular world.
