A wounded stork entrusts a baby to be delivered in Avignon to three friends: a silly duck, a silly rabbit and a nice pig who is a bit grumpy. Their mission: to get the baby to the right address. But none of the animals knows how to get there. The three protagonists will improvise according to their moods. They devise totally improbable stratagems to achieve their ends. Most of the time, they only make the situation worse and end up in trouble. Soon the three of them become attached to their adorable package. They will do anything to deliver the baby to its parents. In a Tex Avery-like atmosphere, the audience is swept along like a hurricane in this cartoonish road movie where zaniness and absurdity are omnipresent. The animals in this story may have a hard time communicating with humans, but they will develop great bonds with each other. And no matter, the fear of ridicule, the important thing is to team up and save an infant. "A Baby to Deliver" is an ode to friendship, solidarity and ingenuity. It shows, once again, that we are stronger when we help each other.
