Faces just out of childhood, concentrated, incredulous, moved. Their names are Ilhame, Vincent, Yara, Nancy-Laure, Rouguy or Antoine. They are law students at the University of Paris 8 Saint-Denis and volunteers at the "Legal Clinic". There, they refer local litigants who often remind them of their parents or neighbours. The professionals and teachers talk to them about distance and neutrality. But in practice, what to do with one's subjectivity and convictions? With what idea of justice and democracy?
