Natale in Casa Cupiello

In co-production with GRRRANIT scène nationale Natale in casa cupiello was created and grew up in the Area Nord theatre, home of the Teatri Associati di Napoli, located in the heart of the Parthenopean city. At the heart of this unconventional production is a single actor: Luca Saccoia. The Neapolitan interacts with seven puppets created by the set designer Tiziano Fario and animated by a set of gestures and manoeuvres created ad hoc for the project. The show, faithful to Eduardo de Filippo's text, evokes the vicissitudes of the Cupiello family, opening a breach in the imagination and memory of each spectator. Natale in casa cupiello is a dream that comes to life through figure theatre, in which Luca Saccoia takes on the role of "Tommasino" who, after pronouncing the famous fateful "yes" to his father, relives and revives that "Christmas" that has accompanied us for so many years.
