Marché aux chevaux

The Attelages du Lion association is organising its 17th horse market and saddle sale on Sunday 16 April 2023 in the Territoire de Belfort, at the gateway to Alsace. For this occasion, the small town of REPPE will once again give way to equine enthusiasts, with a programme of activities and demonstrations in the arena throughout the day. You will be able to enjoy and admire, among others - Aperitif concert with the hunting horns, - Presentation of owner's horses, - Presentation of stallions (Paint Horse, Comtois; ...) - Demonstration of free work, dressage, Iberian horses, - Caroline Spaety of the Libertad Troupe: mounted dressage and free work with her grey horses - Hungarian post, herding, whispering, ... - Farrier, with shoeing demonstration. The horse market welcomes every year many horses, ponies and donkeys for sale. Transactions are made by mutual agreement between buyer and seller. All enthusiasts will find stalls with a vast choice of horse-related equipment. And as in the past, there will be a saddlery sale, which will attract buyers and sellers of small equipment and accessories for driving and riding. Access to the site and all the activities are free. - At noon, a sauerkraut with fillings will be served upon registration; refreshments and snacks will be available all day long. - For horse sellers, it is sufficient to register the horses in advance with the ADL association (grooming and vaccination compulsory). - For stalls and saddlery sales: also register in advance.
