LECTURE / PERFORMANCE CROISÉE – MYRIAM OH ET ANGÈLE CASANOVA, SUIVIE D’UNE RENCONTRE
Details
The relationship between Myriam and Angèle began 10 years ago, when they began writing together as part of the Vases Communicants project, in which they discovered that they lived in the same place, Belfort, which they chose to explore. Since then, Angèle has stayed, Myriam has left, but the collaborations continue: creation of a poor book, Goutte à goutte (my brain is water), participation in the fanzine Thébaïdes.
In this reading/performance/meeting, they will explore the history of their links, unveil a brand new exploration that came to life in their mailboxes last November, and present their respective books. It's a meeting where we'll be talking about journeys, in space and in time, about finding our own way, and tuning in to each other.
Myriam OH (Ould-Hamouda) is a poet, spoken word artist and facilitator of writing and self-expression workshops in Belfort. Since 2018, she has been developing her activities in Toulouse, sowing her seeds with her heart wherever the wind of poetry carries her. Her work revolves around the themes of communication and the quest for self. Convinced that the sum of our sensibilities generates a force beyond ourselves, artistic collaborations are essential to her - and she herself experiments with sound and image. She has published five collections to date, the latest of which, En mode avion, was published by Carnets du Dessert de Lune in October 2024.
A poet and author, Angèle Casanova has published 6 books to date, for both children and adults. She also creates artists' books, takes part in exhibitions, offers readings aloud, artistic performances and writing workshops, mainly in the Territoire de Belfort. Le Magasin numéro 3 (MN3) is her artist's studio.
