On Lonny's debut album, there is a song called "(Not so sad) Love Song". This could be the leitmotif of the record, hemmed in with melancholic ballads of atmospheric folk, spontaneous sincerity and timeless purity. One thinks of Joan Baez meeting Barbara, or Joni Mitchell meeting Patti Smith. No wonder Louise chose the pseudonym Lonny to bring her songs to life, a way of celebrating the solitude she needs to write and a sort of tribute to Neil Young's "Loner". AD'LINE as opening act
