The scene is set: two artists (Les Monsieur Monsieur) are in the middle of creating their next show in tribute to Brel and Barbara. Around the piano, Mario and Laurent prepare the songs, choose the texts and work on their scenes. But the more they work, the more their opinions diverge. While one of them clearly feels 'inhabited' by Barbara, the other resolutely refuses to imitate Jacques Brel. A playful debate between the two comedians and singers ensues. Between the piano and the coffee machine, between the heart and the blood, the question arises: where is the border between imitation and creation?
