He's been at it for fifteen years now, a tightrope walker on the French chanson scene, a little more independent and open-minded each time. On the edge once again, with his 5th album "Désolé pour les fantômes", Benoît Dorémus finds his balance, sometimes leaning towards the feminine, then towards the masculine... From the subtle, he veers 360° towards the gossipy, gliding nimbly, as in the clip for this first track, on his rollerblades. He swings, supple and determined to surprise us with all the facets of his forty-one years.
Somewhere between the earth and the sky, the singer who has been acclaimed from space by astronaut Thomas Pesquet (the track "Rien à te mettre" tweeted live from the stars) reminds us that we are complex beings. We live in several dimensions, we can't fight ghosts but we can let them rest in peace.
